Jerzy Nowosielski – English edition

The album presents the works of one of the most outstanding and versatile Polish contemporary artists, Jerzy Nowosielski. A painter and draughtsman, but also a scenographer, icon painter, philosopher and theologian, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. A unique figure in the history of Polish art, whose works still inspire deep reflection and open new ways of interpretation. The album presents the artist’s works from the collections of Polish museums, the Starmach Gallery in Kraków, and private owners. The rich selection of the artist’s pieces is accompanied by a text on his art by Julita Deluga, a curator and art critic.
